  Don't be afraid to experiment. Gyaru is a style that can be represented in a thousand ways (mixing make-up, hairstyle, clothes, etc.), so don't be afraid to try to mix things you like. ( ´ ▿ ` )

  Let youserlf be adivsd by the community. There are people who have been gyaru for many years and have a lot of experience, and are happy to give improvement tips to people who are just starting in the style. These aren't comments with bad intentions, so it's important to listen and learn from these people ♡ (but stay away from profiles like Gyaru Secrets, they're just evil xD).

  Ignore bad comments from “normie” people. Let me explain. Gyaru is a very colorful and extreme style depending on which sub style you follow (for example, if you like old school, and use manba makeup). Over the years people have become more respectful, but we always find some disrespectful persons who will throw bad words, messing with our makeup or way of dressing. Ignore them. Dress proud your gyaru clothes and make up the way you like and just…. Get wild and be sexy! ☆

☆ What's your favorite Gyaru memory? ☆

By far, assist events like "Salón del Manga" or "Japan Weekend" in Barcelona because there were fashion shows about gyaru fashion. It was a lot of fun, and it was always full of amazing gyarus.

Also, I miss the "golden years" of blogging, there were a lot of gals blogging daily (Japanese and gaijins) and I spent many hours reading and commenting. Those years were great. (≧▽≦)

☆ What would do advice to people who want to start in the style but doesn't have the courage yet? ☆

I would ask them to go slowly. The beginnings are hard, and it can be frustrating at first not knowing how to put on circle lenses or false eyelashes. 

It's important to demand results from yourself, but never too much. Go slowly and practice, practice, practice! Read, learn from the magazines, from more experimented gals… and have fun!

Hoy traigo una actualización rápida para no dejar el blog muerto de nuevo... (￣▽￣*)ゞ... acabo de regresar de mis vacaciones de verano y durante estos días tenía ganas de desconectar un poco de las RRSS y del mundo digital en general... he aprovechado estos días de relax y descanso para leer más, ya que es un hobby que tenía muuuuuy abandonado y que me encanta (aprovecho para dejaros mi perfil de Goodreads por aquí :D)... pero nada, ya estoy de nuevo por estos lares, con mucha energía y muchas ganas de volver a mis posts chorras, y sobretodo a mis posts de hauls y compras compulsivas... o(≧▽≦)o

Bueno, paro ya que no me quiero enrollar mucho... hoy vengo a hablaros de un fenómeno muy gal que he tenido la suerte de experimentar hace poco... ¡un nuevo boom!

Llevaba sin tener "booms" desde que me obsesioné con Maison Gilfy... ¡en 2014! (post de la declaración de amor aquí xD). Sí que durante los años he ido enamorándome de más marcas como Backs, D.i.a, Ghost of Harlem... pero no había sentido el "click" que sentí con MG en ninguna de ellas... hasta ahora. Ladies and gentlemen, les presento mi nuevo boom: Liz Lisa Doll (リズリサドール)

(´ ω `♡)... no me voy a explayar mucho porque sé que todxs conocéis esta marca, pero así a modo resumen súper resumido... Liz Lisa Doll es una sub-marca de Liz Lisa que nació en mayo de 2006 y estuvo en activo hasta 2014, y abarca un estilo más bien "cool&casual", muy en sintonía con el amekaji de Cocolulu, Marple Q o BMB pero con una paleta de colores mucho más reducida (blancos, negros y rojos principalmente). Se pueden encontrar prendas deportivas, preppy, mezclas de estilo masculino y femenino... vamos, que puedo combinarla perfectamente con la ropa más casual que tengo de Gilfy. ( 〃▽〃)

¡Y este es el mini haul que pedí! Algunas cosas ya las ha recibido el intermediario, otras aun estan en proceso de llegar.. espero que no se cancele nada porque me gusta mucho todo T___T

• Mono a rayas: Le ponen una etiqueta de Gilfy a este mono y me creo que es de la marca. (≧◡≦) ♡
• Tube top negro y rosa: Para utilizar debajo de sudaderas. Eran tan baratos que pedí los 2 (￣▽￣*)ゞ los hay en muchos colores, quizás más adelante me anime a pedir más si veo que les doy bastante uso. 
• Sudadera negra y sudadera blanca: Un básico de LL Doll, las sudaderas. Había tantísimas opciones con mil estampados y acabados diferentes que no sabía cuál coger... al final pedí unas bastante sencillas sin muchos ornamentos.
• Minifalda rosa: Muy buen precio y otro básico de la marca. Me preocupa un poco el tamaño, según escribe el vendedor es bastante corta... a ver qué me encuentro cuando me llegue. (＃＞＜) 
• Minifalda roja: Debido a que no quedé muy satisfecha al comprar la minifalda rosa (porque me huelo que no me va a quedar bien y me vendrá pequeña) pedí esta en rojo. Como estaba tan barata pues no me lo pensé y la pedí también. (*ﾉωﾉ) 
• Tote bag: Me encanta coleccionar tote bags... estuve un buen rato mirando diferentes modelos (en Mercari había como mil millones de diseños diferentes xD) y al final me quedé con esta, que estaba nueva y por sólo ¥300. (*♡∀♡)
• Tarjetero: Para llevar el abono de transporte es perfecto, ¡espero que no lo cancele el vendedor porque le voy a dar muuuucho uso! :3

• Tube top: Una prenda que encontré varias veces en el catálogo de verano de 2009 con distintos estampados, llevaba tiempo en mi wishlist y al final me animé a pedirlo. \(^ヮ^)/
• Camiseta manga corta: ¿Os acordáis que en el post del 2008 S/S Book dije que buscaba alguna de estas camisetas? Justo el otro día de casualidad encontré una, a ¥300... tardé 2 segundos en pedirla. (￣▽￣)
• Colgante: Porque nunca se tienen suficientes accesorios x'DDD... y así dejo de usar tanto el colgante de estrellitas, que lo tengo ya para el arrastre de tanto usarlo. ( ╥ω╥ )  

Y eso sería todo :) ¡Por cierto, hoy empieza el Gyaru 109 Month! Espero que muchxs participéis en las diferentes actividades que ha organizado Reila ^^ ¡nos vemos por las redes!

Hi! Some weeks ago, I started an online Japanese intensive course, and I'm really enjoying it! My main goal is to improve my writing skills and start reading and writing in hiragana and katakana, so I have to practice a lot (* ^ ω ^); wish me luck!

So, today I want to post some gets I'm waiting from Mercari (✧ω✧). I'm also writing a post about the "Gyaru One Week Challenge! ☆" made by Leia, but first, I need to stop being so lazy at blogging and finish taking all the photos of the outfits (￣▽￣*)ゞ I hope I can publish that post someday this year, hahaha.

En uno de mis últimos pedidos recibí un pequeño catálogo de Maison Gilfy, concretamente de la temporada primavera/verano del año 2008 (una reliquia, vamos)... y como eran poquitas páginas, me he animado a escanearlo y compartirlo por aquí :D (gracias por descubrirme la maravillosa función de escaneo del iPhone, Sue! (´ ε ` )♡).

I received a small Maison Gilfy catalogue in one of my last orders, specifically from the spring/summer 2008 season (a treasure ♡). There were only a few pages, so I decided to scan and share it :D (thanks for discovering me the iPhone's marvellous scanning function, Sue! (' ε ` )♡).

El catálogo empieza con unas páginas de outfits, que la verdad son: (*°▽°*) me gustan mucho todos, pero definitivamente mi favorito es el que han utilizado para la portada ♡ sencillito pero sin perder el toque rockerillo gracias a los accesorios  (pienso copiar descaradamente este outfit este verano xD).

The catalogue starts with a few pages of outfits, which are: (*°▽°*)!!! I like them all, but definitely, my favourite is the one they used for the cover, ♡ simple but with a rocker touch thanks to the accessories  (I plan to copy this outfit this summer xD).

En la siguiente página le dedican una pequeña entrevista a la modelo/actriz/gravure idol invitada de este catálogo: Aki Hoshino. Si traductir de Google no me trolea, le preguntan un poco su opinión de la ropa de Gilfy y ReDark, cuándo vestiría las marcas, qué estilo suele llevar, alguna pregunta de self care...

On the next page, they dedicate a short interview to the guest model/actress/gravure idol of this catalogue: Aki Hoshino. In the interview, if Google Translate doesn't troll me (lol), they ask Aki about Gilfy and ReDark clothes, his style, some self-care questions...

En las siguientes páginas se puede encontrar toda la ropa y accesorios de temporada. Me llaman mucho la atención los sets de camiseta + gorro que se vendieron en las diferentes tiendas...  he buscado por Mercari a ver si encontraba alguna de las camisetas (me gustan los colores de la cami de Yokohama y Shibuya) y ha sido un gran FAIL (눈_눈) Seguiré buscando, porque cuando me encapricho de algo no paro hasta que lo encuentro... (￣▽￣)

Next, you can find all the seasonal clothing and accessories. I like a lot the T-shirt + hat set sold in the different stores   I was looking in Mercari to see if I could find any of the T-shirts (I like the colours of Yokohama and Shibuya) and it was a big FAIL (눈_눈). I will keep looking bc when I get obsessed with something, I don't stop until I find it.... (￣▽￣)

Seeeguimos con más prendas de temporada y algunos outfits. Personalmente, veo que hay mucha ropa de manga larga o prendas no muy veraniegas o primaverales, ¿no creéis? Yo por ejemplo no me pongo unas botas altas a 38º, o llevo chaqueta o jersey de manga larga en verano... 

We continue with more seasonal clothes and some outfits. I see a lot of long sleeve clothes or not very summery or spring clothes. For example, I don't wear high boots at 38º or wear a jacket or long sleeve sweater in summer... 

Finalmente, las últimas páginas las dedican a mostrar la nueva colección de ReDark (marca que junto a Maison Gilfy y Backs operaban bajo la misma compañía, por eso aparecen de normal las 3 juntas en los diferentes catálogos). Volviendo a ReDark... nunca me ha llamado especialmente la atención (；￣Д￣), intenta ser un poco Amekaji pero menos vistosa y llamativa... se queda a medias y me llama 0 xD pero bueno, se pueden sacar ideas de outfits! 

And finally, the catalogue ends showing the new ReDark collection, which is a brand that never particularly caught my attention (；￣Д￣); it tries to be an attempt to Amekaji but less flashy and eye-catching... meh xD but at least it's possible to get some outfit inspiration!
